We're ready for 2009!

2008 was another good year for AlfaTest. During the period, we carried out over 70 surveys both big and small. We've attracted some new custmers such as Viking Line, Rettig Group Bore, Tarbit Shipping and Holy House to name a few.
We have also had the pleasure of looking after our "old" customers with projects for Wallenius Lines, Transatlantic, Imperial Ship management, Öresundsvarvet, Finnlines, Stena Line, TT Line, Broströms...also just to name a few.

2008 brought a new co-operation with VFR Marine in Hamburg who now act as AlfaTest's official agent for the German market. We have carried out projects for H. Schepers and currently have bids in with eight other German companies which we hope will come to fruituion in the new year.

We have decided to strengthen our service of independent coating inspection by becoming FROSIO certified. This gives us the necessary formal credentials to properly look after our customers needs when it comes to impartial inspection of ballast tanks.

In all, 2008 has been a very positive year and it is my hope that 2009 will be even better. We will do our best here at AlfaTest to help make sure that that happens.
